Got to spend a great day taking photos last weekend. I had to travel to Sydney (about 3.5hrs away), and managed to get to the disused tram depot that I'd been wanting to visit for a while, as well as stopping off at anumber of places on the way home. Result was a good 300+ photos shot throughout the day. The last photos I took were of a ruined stone building as I stood amongst the gravestones in an old country cemetery at the last moments of dusk. By the end, I was trying to navigate my way back to my car in near pitch black without falling over any gravesites ... got to admit, it was kind of scarey. The upshot is a bit of a photographic re

Wow, getting experimental! I've started including carbon based life forms in some of my photos now - mainly natives from Sol 3. I still prefer taking photos of things than life forms though ... Really disappointed that I am going to miss out on a photoshoot at a disused Railway depot featuring ruined carriages etc that I had planned. I like photographing "run down" and "decaying" things ... Somehow I ended up as a co-founder of the CanberraART group ??????? End of transmission

Back from  my month's holiday in Western Australia ... and have over 2500 photos to sort through ... and that's just the ones I took, add in the rest of the family and I reckon I'll be photoediting for a long time. Hopefully, there'll be a large number end up here on DA over the coming weeks :)
